Everybody's looking for something they can't see

Like staring at the center of the rising sun

Look too long and you will find

A purple spot in the center of your eye

Seeming like you'll never see what's really behind

You try to feel something you can't touch

Sometimes felt when two hands touch

It embraces you back in another's arms

Like a dream, untouchable

Yet somehow able to pull you closer

You want to understand this thing you don't know

Sometimes apparent with a smile

It gives you hints with random kindness

It teaches you to be more caring

But still remains so unpredictable

But when you find it, keep it

Keep that person close to you

And see what can't be seen

Feel what can't be grasped

And learn what you thought you'd never know

And if you're lucky, they'll do the same.
