Movie Review: The Wolfman

This film is a very visually attractive movie for those who are interested in blood, fighting, and futuristic special effects. Other than that, the film provides a somewhat predictable plotline and a typical inner love story.

 The special effects are quite amazing and that is what kept me interested in continuing to watch the film. It well deserves its generous R rating with the fighting and gory special effects and makeup.

 For those who are bad at predicting endings or thinking ahead in general, the plot is quite interesting and intriguing. But since the average R-rated movie watcher is a little brighter than that, it was fun to watch but still quite predictable.

 The love story is the typical beauty and the beast love story that can be guessed easily by the beginning of the film. The ending is given away a little over halfway through the movie but, as I said earlier, the sweet special effects and fighting alone kept me in the theatre.

 If you are like me and are entertained simply by fighting, blood, and a pretty girl then I would recommend this film for you. But due to the predictable plot and sometimes over-excessive acting and suspense I give this movie a very generous 3 stars.

+++/5
