Wave of Cleansing

My life is similar I would say-
To a wave.
A just comparison I believe
Let me explain what I perceive.
As the tides rise and fall,
So does my life- it begins and ends like all
Life does.
Waves are fluid and go with the flow,
Able to bend and break and still remain in its liquid form.
As is my life, I move with the times without the ridged structure of stone.
And as the waves meet with others, I do the same and am never alone.
But even though waves are majestic and grand
They will destroy anything in their path that will stand.
With my words I too will destroy the standing structures
Containing this nation and will let the nation flow
Just like a wave.
And as all waves stop and recede
When my work is done I will leave
Not requiring power,
Not wishing to be in office for another hour,
For my work will be done
And I will sit at the beach watching the sun
Shine on the waves.
